I am South African living in Colombia and I can appreciate that I can use my language skills to contribute to the knowledge and communication in Afrikaans and in English to Colombians and other national foreigners interested in these two languages.

Translating is about understanding the soul of the languages. It can't be done literally. I can translate academic and technical texts. I can also help with Christian texts. I have experience in simultaneous translation in Afrikaans to English. I will seat with the student to discuss the translation when is done explaining the concepts paragraph by paragraph.
I can do the translations and discuss it personally, via e-mail or via webcam.
I can also check and correct the texts you generate produced by Google translator or any of these applications.
