My name is Oscar Ulander - I'm English and Swedish, with a degree in English literature and a (very) English accent. I have lived in England for most of my life, as well as Sweden, and studied English Literature at university in London. My girlfriend is Spanish, and I've been really enjoying getting to know Spanish culture. When I have time I like playing rugby, guitar, scuba diving, and computer games. I've recently moved to Mallorca and am really enjoying exploring.

I believe that conversation is the most important element of learning a language. My classes are based on this, focusing on improving conversational ability, with gentle correction to pronunciation and grammar when it is required. We could spend ages learning grammar, or working on written assignments, but the real reason we learn languages is to be able to communicate - this starts with conversation. We will work on conversations about things that you find interesting - and get to know each other. After establishing your level of English, we can adapt the classes as required to focus on areas you would like to improve. I am happy to teach all levels.
