My approach to teaching is based on empowering students. English is a language and a language is a tool, therefore I must teach them to use that tool. That teaching process is mainly based on motivación and self-awareness of the student's own progress: They must realize what their strengths and their soft spots are, and we as teachers must motivate them to work on those soft spots.
The student's learning process goes on outside the classroom too: Classroom work, though important, is only the tip of the iceberg.
I always offer my students support and motivation while they're outside the classroom too.
