I am a recent graduate from The University of Texas at Austin and just spent 7 months in Medellín, Colombia teaching English through conversation. I loved my time in Colombia and learned spanish through my everyday-interactions with the locals and the friends I made there.

My methodology is to teach english through conversation. A lot of people learn lots of vocabulary and lots of verbs, but when it comes to actually talking in a conversation, they are lost. That is why I know that having actual conversations and talking with a native English-speaker is the best way to learn. Therefore, my methodology is that we have a conversation and I point out things that you can improve on and that you can continue to practice through our time together. I learned Spanish this way so I know its the best way.
