Sobre Fredy
My educational background is specialized in reading, speaking and teaching methods. I used these skills first as a public speaker and as a teacher of theology to groups of students as well as individuals.
I then carried on with these tools to teach English as a second language to other native Spanish speakers.
When you work with me, you are woking with someone who has gone through the language learning process and has made it out on the other side! I too, once had to start at the beginning, so I empathize with all the feelings that may come with starting to build language competency.
With my skillset, you will have access to the different tools you'll need to get yourself to your goal.

I was born and raised in Mexico where I absorbed the world around me in my first language--Spanish.
I progressed through my eduction in Spanish, but truly started studying linguistics when I began to learn English. From there, I went on to learn traditional linguistic developmental techniques as well as unique dynamic methods that helped me succeed in the learning of English as well as Zapoteco which is an Indigenous language from Oaxaca, Mexico.
As a teacher who was once a student of those languages, I know how important it is to find a mentor who will guide you through the specifics of the language. What I can offer as a Spanish teacher is a complex delivery of a lesson tailored to your specific learning needs--ie: vocabulary, comprehension, listening, grammar and conversational skills. What sets me apart as your tutor is the cultural competency that I'll bring to our sessions as someone who's been living in the culture for their entire life.
Being able to teach through cultural emphasis in learning Spanish from Mexico is crucial for learners that want to truly grasp the language, succeed in the details and use the language in a correct and creative cultural context.
