Sobre Melanie
Hi! My name is Melanie, and I am originally from the USA, although I have been living in the UK for the past 10 years — so I would say I’m a little more British now haha! I have a degree in Psychology and have always enjoyed learning about people, communication, and different cultures.
I also studied in South Korea, where I taught English both in schools and through one-to-one private lessons. This experience helped me work with students from different backgrounds, ages, and language levels while making lessons enjoyable and comfortable.
My teaching style is very relaxed, friendly, and supportive. I love having good conversations and creating a calm environment where students feel confident speaking and making mistakes while learning. My goal is to help students improve naturally while keeping lessons engaging, personal, and suited to their individual needs.

I teach English in a relaxed, supportive, and personalized way that helps students feel comfortable and confident while learning. My classes are mainly focused on beginners, but I also work with intermediate and advanced students who want to improve their speaking, grammar, writing, pronunciation, or overall fluency.
I like to keep my lessons open and natural while still following a clear structure and learning plan. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style depending on your goals, level, and interests. Whether you want help with conversation, schoolwork, exams, travel English, or everyday communication, I will make sure our lessons are useful, engaging, and enjoyable.
