Sobre Reyes

Hello, I am a native Spanish teacher and a passionate about Spanish.

I have a degree in Hispanic Philology and I am an accredited teacher by the Instituto Cervantes. I have more than 10 years of experience in teaching Spanish. I am an examiner of the DELE levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 since 2016 managing and evaluating tests of oral and written comprehension and expression of each call, and preparing the tests with guaranteed results to students from all over the world.

I love my job and I have directed internships for Masters in Teaching Spanish and Applied Linguistics to university students from different universities in Spain, transmitting my enthusiasm for teaching.

I develop my classes taking into account the multiple intelligences to adapt to each student and facilitate their learning.

I consider myself a motivating and empathetic person who takes his work seriously.

METHODOLOGY

For me, the student is the protagonist of his own learning. That's why I create blogs where students collaborate by practicing understanding and expression in Spanish, and that way they always have all the resources worked on in class at their disposal.

With my resources we work on movies, music, interesting texts in Spanish where you can apply the grammar and get to know the wonderful culture of Spanish-speaking countries.

I use the communicative approach of learning and I work a lot on pronunciation and conversation so that from the first days the student acquires confidence in the use of Spanish.

I adapt the classes to the objectives of each student: interest in Spanish and its culture, certification of level for studies or work needs.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER

I started my teaching career in Secondary and High Schools teaching Spanish Language and Literature to native students in Spain. From my work in the Spanish Department of the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas in 1994 I specialized until I became part of the Spanish teaching staff at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. I am also a tutor of the Virtual Spanish Classroom of the Instituto Cervantes and a trainer of the SIELE. I combine my face-to-face classes with online classes.

I am very interested in the media, and I have training in voice over and dubbing; I have collaborated in radio programs, and that is why I give a lot of importance to pronunciation and intonation in Spanish.

Acerca de la clase
